Viktor Pelepchuk | Biography

Viktor Pelepchuk was born in 2000 in the city of Czernowitz, Ukraine. At the age of 6 he began studying at the music school. Scholarship holder of the national program for gifted children "Children of Ukraine" from 2008-2016. Grand Prix at the All-Ukrainian competition "New Names" (2016, Kiev). Winner of international and regional competitions.
He was involved in the creative process at the recording studio in Czernowitz, which belongs to his family. Later, in parallel with his developing career as a pianist, he worked at the studio and participated in the creation of two CDs: “Paul Celan. Selected Poetry” (2020) and ”Sidi Tal. From Concert Programs” (2021).
Since 2016 lives in Klagenfurt, Austria (twin city of Czernowitz, Ukraine) and begins studying at the Carinthian State Conservatory (class of Professor Elisabeth Väth-Schadler, piano). Since 2020 he is a student at the Gustav Mahler Private University of Music (class of Professor Elisabeth Väth-Schadler, piano). His recordings are available on all the major digital platforms.
In 2024, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction and is currently pursuing a master's degree. Actively engaged in concert activities.
Is currently working at ORF Kärnten (Austrian Broadcasting Corporation, Carinthian division) in the sound department.
